Question about clearance when lowering an EP
Well after my dc5 had a minor set back with some gravel and a tree, ive now been driven an Altima for about 3 months. Im lookin to get back in the scene. Im really considering gettin an EP. I would have to lower it though, no questions asked, if anything, its gettin lowered.
Now are there any clearance issues while driving a lowered EP. My dc5 was dropped on teins and my exhaust would scrap over stuff all the time. Could i have the same problem with an EP with a similar drop?

I have Ksports adjusted all the way down almost, with a stock exhaust I have never scraped. NY roads are very bad, yet I still have no problems. I was worse off with my 93 SI. It wasnt even lowered as much as the ep3.
For the most part, the EP3 and DC5 share the same layout on the bottom of the car.
So yeah, it's going to be similar. Just use your head and don't lower the car too much. The further that you lower, the worse the car handles anyways.

Cool, thanks for the replies. It wouldnt go too low. Just a lil bit to close up that wheel gap a lil. The exhaust on the rsx was fine when it was the base oem one. I then upgraded to an 05 type s exhaust. Im guessing it was the wider diameter of the piping that did it.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
