That's not a Spoon crate motor, it's a 98 Spec JDM ITR B18C with a Spoon crank, rods and pistons.

Of course the Spoon crank, rods and pistons are just stock 98 Spec JDM ITR units that have been balanced together. Most potential buyers wouldn't tear down the engine to make sure he really does have the Spoon parts in it. You would not be able to tell the difference between the stock 98 Spec parts and the Spoon parts either. I'm not saying he doesn't have the Spoon parts in there, but if you look at the list of modifications he really doesn't seem like one who would have paid the extra money to have the bottom end rebuilt with Spoon parts (especially on a relatively new 98 Spec engine).

Also 98 Spec JDM ITR B18Cs come with CTR cams, stock, so I don't know why he listed that as a modification.

bahh, email him and tell him you come to pick it up and you plan to tear the engine down if he cannot provide receipts from Spoon.

 

but you can always see that block from Spoon doesnt have engine number written down.

 

even if is not spoon , is going for cheap!
