Default OBD1 p13 on a OBD2 car

hi
what would happen if i install a OBD1 ECU on a OBD2 car ?

i have a genuine SPOON SPORTS P13 ECU (not just the chip) but its OBD1 and my 96 BB4 is a OBD2

the pin from the OBD2 prelude are the same as the pins from the SPOON SPORTS ECU and i installed it without a OBD2>OBD1 harness

the car started normally but i felt no gains it drives normally but vtec still kics in at 5000 and the rev limit is still 7800 RPM

anyone can put spoon stickers on there. And an OBDI ecu will not connect to an OBDII harness without the conversion. U got scammed.

1.i dont know for 100% if my car is OBD2 i just think that is OBD2 because its a 96 BB4

2. i´ve payd nothing for the ECU it was in another JDM BB4 that i´ve just for spares and the seller dont knew that there was a spoon ECU inside it was maybe installed from the preowner there was also a SPOON sports VTEC controller in the car

so maybe the JDM 96 is a OBD1 ? and just the USDM are OBD2

i know that 96 EDM Preludes are OBD1 and 97+ EDM preludes are OBD2

i dont think spoon had an OBD2 ecu but im not positive. but regardless an OBD1 ecu would not plug into a OBD2 harness unless your car is a 95 lol
