Its much easier and cheaper than JDM PF mirrors. Post your writeup, it might help with my needed installation of the JDM version

I think my total cost was some where arounf $30 or less...they are on ebay to for about $20 each I think so even if you can't go to a junkyard to get them they can be had for a lot less than the JDM version..non the less they are no power folding but I can live with out that

I did this in my hatch, its not very hard, Basically you Elongate the mounting holes, and run you wires to the switch. Been working great now for 2 years.

There's more to it than that if you want it to look good. The angle of the sail panel between the CRX and the Sedan is not the same.

Looks like the original posted removed the sail panels and switched them between the two units to get an ideal fit....definitely more invovled than enlongating the holes.

Good job bro.

Yea it is more involved than just drilling the whole or just switching the plates I had to take both mirrors apart and merged the internal parts, this is a 100% hybrid mirror, a little cutting and grinding involed. They are not perfect but damn near close and good enough for me, I am working on the complete write up with pictures should have it done in a few days I will make sure to post it up here for all to see

I guess the doors are differnent on the hatch and Crx, Becuause i never had to do all that, the mirriors fit perfect once they were put in the right spot. I can see from the pics what you mean about the Sail being different. So just a heads up to everyone, If your doing on a hatch, its like a 10 min job. Only thing that needs to be alterned is the mounting bracket, on the mirror, i think i Gorund alittle plastic off the backside, but i cant remeber now if i did it get the window visors to fit right or if the mirrior didnt sit flat. Ether way i know i didnt pull the mirror apart. And i was under the impression that it was just as a easy to do the CRX. Oh well tho Nice wirte up.
