Brake upgrade
Ok HT, I've been searching all morning and since the newbie population are allowed to spam the boards, I'm going to stop looking and start asking.
NSX brakes look promising, two-piston kit for much less than anything fastbrakes could do. Since everyone has their own little thread for their problems, non of them account every peace of information, leaving me questionable about the upgrade, as their are holes in the setup.
Legend/ITR/NSX are sposed to be the same design with the NSX calipers being thicker and the Legend rotors being a little more sturdy. Another thread I read told me the NSX rotors were thicker.
Some guy Randy has done this swap, and it seems he didn't have to use any other knuckles, even though you need ones for a DA brake swap, so you must need something else for the NSXs.
Right now I have stock 89 Si Fronts, and EF2 JDM rears. I want to get a nice aftermarket blank rotor for an NSX, with remanufactured NSX calipers in the front and in the back. I need to change the rears like it or not. Calipers included.
Which knucles would I need? Who sells pre-drilled 4x100 rotors of this class, or is the closest machine shop the best best? Do ITR 94-01 MC and BB bolt up?
Ok in theory, I should be able to get F+R DA knucles, F+R NSX redrilled 11.1" rotors, NSX Calipers with some shaving on the mounts, and the ITR MC/BB and be set?
Everything pertains to an 89 Civic Si Hatchback
I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to deal with this ****.

To answer your question yes the DA kunckles will work but you will need spacers for the caliper to sit on the rotor evenly.
my question is why go so big with the brakes? the larger rotors and calipers will not make you stop faster but keep the pads and the rotors from getting too hot since you now have more surface area. If you really want brakes that big i would stick with a 7/8" or 15/16" MC and the stock BB so that your not using too much brake.

Thanks for the reply. Reason for the ITR cylinder is because I have easy access to one. It does fit? I will need a new MC because I switched from drum to disc in the rear recently, and mine will not take it. The stock rotors, pads, and calipers that came with the conversion from Japan are shot and must be replaced.
I've driven EDs with the Integra fronts, and one with the dual piston Wilwood. I must admit, he has his **** right because the car would stop on a dime without locking up the rears or lock up period.
My basic point is, I would like some more power, but if the general public disagrees, I might just get stock powerslots.
