Default Some Pics from ALMS (56k, get NetZero HiSpeed)

I took about 300 pics, but I'll just post a few. It was a hot day (100+degrees), but a lot of fun. This is the first LeMans series event that I've been to. I was a bit star-struck to see all these cars up close.

1st Place in Touring Car -

3rd Place -

Cunningham blew a tire half way through. He was in 5th at the time. Oh, well.

Bugatti

Audi's took 1st in LMP1. They are diesel powered, which surprised me. And they were super quiet. Sounded like a nuclear sub.

I talked them into letting me put one of their spare wings on my car.

Other pics right before the race:

Canada reppin And I guess Jamie Kennedy was in town, as well... -

This Panoz was having trouble all day keeping in on the track.

Pretty fun event. Can't wait for next year's. Maybe by then, I'll have a decent camera.

Yeah the ALMS races are awesome. Great pics and what camera are you using? I went to the Mid-Ohio race this year and I wanna go to the Road America race in August.

That diesel car is sick isn't it? I got to see it's debut at Sebring this year. I can't wait until next years 12 hours. There will be the new Acura car there. Glad you got to get out and enjoy ALMS. Hopefully next year I can do Sebring and Petite.

Yeah, those rotors were glowing bright, even with full daylight. Only on the C6's, though. Other cars glowing rotors didn't show until the sun started setting.

I am using a Canon A95 camera. I'm a huge noob with cameras, so didn't get the best camera settings for the best pics. Next year, I'll hopefully get a zoom lens or move up to a SLR after I take a class this year.

Here are the results of the race

If I owned a Veyron I wouldnt want a bunch of mongoloids touching my car. ****, I dont want people touching my old *** m3. What kind of savage needs to touch a car thats not theirs. Whats the point?
