Testin the EF/CRX game
I never really liked ef/crx just Bc eg.ek.dc are much easyer to work on! I have been tryin to get a EF hatch this summa as a beater and in the future turn it into a race car.. I know these Efs are pretty light, 2000-2200pds(gutted).. I was really thinking about dropping a stock D motor , with a mild turbo setup.. but i really dont know a thing aboout EF/turbo .. can someone shed some light on me? with a stock 96 EX motor fit with stock motors mounts etc..? i

Si tranny with the DX final drive for the best of both worlds.

i don't think Hasport has one for D-series - only for B-series - D-series hydraulic clutch transmissions mounts are completely different from cable clutch transmissiona

i think innovative mounts has a cable to hydro kit for the d series, either that or convert your car to hydro clutch setup using salvage yard parts. dont know exactly what would work but just of the top of my head probably parts off a 92-93 teg or 92-00~ civic

WTF? CRXes are super easy to work on. I freaking hate anything newer than 91. Not to mention they are all ugly, and **** from 92-up. You obviously have never worked on a CRX. I've worked on every FWD Honda chassis, and prefer the 88-91 over all others.

I hear ya man! I've work on some EG coupes, some EK hatchs, a 90 Accord, a 88 Accord, a 94 Accord, a 93 Prelude and a 02 Civic, and I'd rather work on my 90 Civic anyday. I didn't know the difference between 88-89 90-91 until I took mine I'd say....70% apart (empty engine bay, no interior) and rebuilt it. Holy **** did I ever realise that outside of not having enough engine room, our cars are the simplest hondas around. If you want complex, work on an Accord, just do a brake job and ask me if you like them!
