Hey fellas, I have a 1991 CRX HF with it's torn up seats and I recently got my hands on seats from a 1998 Civic DX, so I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to swap them in. Anyone have any experience with these and any advice? Thanks in advance.

 

i swapped seats from a 99 civic into my crx. i assume it would be the same. first u have to unbolt the top and bottom of the crx and civic seats. once they are separated you have switch the seat pans and u can reattach the civic fabric to the crx seat pan with platic zip ties. then u will need to take the reclining mechanism off the crx seat and bolt it up to the civic seat. in order to do this u will have to pull the seat fabric up so u can unbolt the two bolts that hold the reclining mechism to the side of the seat. then just bolt the top and bottom parts of the seat together.
