Default ITR SRS AIRBAG LIGHT is ON

recently my airbags went off when i went over a pot hole o.O i drive a 2000 Integra GSR.
so i went to the junkyard and took off some airbags from another integra (unknown year) and put them on my car. everything went on fine. until it came time to plug them in. the plugs were different so i decided to splice the wires. the 2000 airbag didnt have a red/white wire.. they were both yellow wires so i had to sort of guess which was the positive wire and which were the white. Hense when i tryed to jump the srs light to reset it. it didnt work. it only blinked once after the second time of disconnecting them. according to :
http://www.team-integra.net/se...=1128
and
http://www.geocities.com/myintegra96/srs.html
if i plugged them in backwards, could that affect the connection? should i play guess and check with the wireing? and keep trying the connection trick?

you will also need to replace te srs brain unit also which is behind the center console to the right of the gas pedal. that unit is a one time use only thing so once it goes off with the air bad, it will need to be replace also.

If you wear your seatbelt you don't need an air bag. Well you might if it is bad enough, but if you ever upgrade to an aftermarket wheel you wont have SRS.

the srs module is behind the shift console under the dash. so lay down on the ground and you will see a gap behind the shifter console and udner the dash. there is a covering over it also.

holy crap man!!!

first off thank you all for helping me located it i got really confused where the module was located but i eventually found it. its kinda hidden underneath this plastic piece and some carpet. didnt look like what i thought it would look like..

now the holy **** part... like it fits a t-30 driver right? well yea i had the driver but i guess its a piece of **** cuase it didnt fit too well and the screws are put on so freaking tight that after all my efforts i was only able to remove one of the screws!! ahhhh!! worst yet i stripped one of the screws! and now i have no clue what to do. i was thinking just plug another srs unit in but let it hang and bang around... but that doesnt seem too smart.
should i bring my gsr to the factory and ask them to help me change the modules? im probably going to just buy anoter module and bring it there.. i need help basically taking those 4 screws out... embarassing aint it.

Dude from the sounds of things you are not capable to service the SRS. You spliced wires for your airbag? Come on man, if one of them shorts what happens? I hope you atleast used solder.

Anyways, drill out the screws, replace the unit, and buy new screws.
