4.4 or 4.7 final drive on a type r tranny? which is better?

4.7

the ratios are higher and your car will be quicker because its going to redline faster.

its true. have u driven a type-r before? have you seen how fast it redlines? its because of the gear ratios. what about the 05-06 rsx-s? it uses 4.7 final drive..drive one of those youll be amazed how quick it is from its ratios.

you can drop that belief now...cause its not correct...the usdm type r has a 4.4 final drive

the 4.7 FD only comes in the type R JDM 98+. all USDM is 4.4s the 4.7 will make you redline faster, making your car feels faster at acceleration. a 4.7 FD upgrade in a 4.4 would be real sweet. i have the tranny myself and i love it
