Im looking at a car where the guy says its stuck on "hot" right now. You can turn the heater off, and the AC works, but to get the AC on I will have to fix the knov. He says it will only turn a tiny bit and seems to be jammed.

I seemed to remember with my 1990 EF the hot/cold was a swipe that I broke off cuz it got jammed or rusted in the engine compartment. I dont really understand the **** he is talking about, anybody got an idea of how hard that would be to replace?
