the maroon one in last pic had a "427 cobra" badge but who knows
they just left & by far the sickest one was the red one with HUGE scoop

sounded rediculous - people at work thought my k20a-ek with open header was loud
the red one was definitely cammed & probably stroked too (if not a 502)
they headed towards lake george - im gonna see if I can track 'em down if I can get outta work

Doubtful.......guys that own originals for the most part won't drive them on the streets. They have to be insured for a million+ (no joke).
Edit: The above is nice but appears to be a kit as well.

It can vary greatly, some turnkeys start in the 30's but can get really pricey. I would love to have a Factory 5 with a Ford HO 302. Budget Cobra and FUN FTW
(I will have one for my 40th B-Day). My GN was my 30th

yeah, all the real ones are signed by carroll shelby on the dash. thats usually a dead giveaway if it is real or not. and im pretty sure that real ones have a shelby badge in the engine bay as well

Carol Shelby will sign anything if you pay him enough, that's not absolute way to determine if it's real or not.
A good way to tell it's real is if it has an aluminum body.

If I remember right Superformance who is the major maker of these replicas signed an exclusive deal with Shelby to build them and authenticate them as Shelbys but in reality they are all new replicas of the real 60's version.
Somebody above was right in saying that a real Shelby from the 60's could fetch upwards of a million dollars and you wont hardly find a real one on the road at anytime.
