With the mods you have, you should be seeing 13.8's or better. Like someone mentioned, you need to drop the tire pressure down to say around 20 PSI. When I ran mine, I had it down to like 18.5, but you will want to start higher than that and work your way down. Also not mentioned, what RPM where you launching at? Any wheel spin? 60's look pretty good but you could get them a little bit better. What your looking for is 2.2-2.0's. With 100 MPH trap speeds, you can get into the 13's. Just keep practicing and have fun.

i was launching at 4 to 4.5 rpm feathering the clutch. Any higher and i would have gotten too much wheel spin. The 2.6 60" was launching above 5000 rpm. I should of lowered the tire pressure. I was running 40 psi. I should be going again soon. I would like to run drag radials, but i don't want to damage my tranny or axles. I HATE that first to second gear change. It feels like the tranny is going to break.

You'll be ok. What the goal is, is to never come out of Vtec. If you can lauch at say 5500, with a little less air pressure, I think you'd be ok with the wheel spin. Yes, you do have to slip the clutch quite a bit to get it to work right, but the first time you get it right you'll know. It will feel like a freight train coming out of the hole instead of falling on it's face, and then going back into Vtec. The key is practice. This was the first time out with the new setup. Keep going and keep us updated about the the results.

Anything over 4.5 rpm i get too much wheel spin. 2.2 and 2.3 60" was launching 4.5 rpm.

You just need to lower the tire pressure. Once you get that lower, the wheel spin will be less of an issue. If anything, you'll start to get wheel hop instead of spin.

Well it is worse than say "going easy" but when I dragged my R, I was shifting pretty hard. It would bark the tires between 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift. Sometimes I'd even get a little bit of spin between the 1-2 shift. Is it going to cause your trans to fall out though, no.

I find that wheel hop is way worse than wheel spin at 20psi....

Usually I really have to watch the gas until I get a grip then let it rip... haha

crappy 60ft, but nice trap.

dont "launch". youll have much better results with lower tire pressure and preloading.
