Hey, I'm going to be swapping my first motor here in a couple months, were the axles a real pain in the *** or was it not so bad? Any big mistakes that you ran into? It's a B18A (w/ a hydro tranny) into a '97 hatchback. Thanks for your help.

the axles wasn't bad at all, we had to do alittle jiggyin and cussing, but it went in pretty good.. as far as mistakes, i realli couldn't think of any, the rear mount was the biggest pain, it took us like 30 mins jus to get the hole to line up.. we lifted it up and down, till we got it jus right.. as for the wiring, it wasn't too bad.. i followed the wiring diagram from the hybrid page and jspectuning.com..i didn't even have a helms or anything... over all, it was a fun experience.. if you do decide to do one, i recommend not doin it over night like i did.. i was so tired when i got done.. i couldn't even enjoyin the ride the next morning.. but anyways, any more imput welcomed.. any more questions, hit me up on AIM.. lates..

i would follow what ever is recommended by CM.. for instant, the ACT clutch recommends 500 mile break in period of city driving, not highway.. i'm not 100% sure why this is, but better safe then sorri

my friend installed ACT clutch in his eclipse... he ended up droppin the clutch 'racing'.. he had to have it re-installed

sooo id strongly recommend 500 mile break in period..

btw.. nice job in the swap

Yeah, that's cool. I know what you mean by the all-nighter, I did that the other night putting my turbo kit on. We worked form 11pm to 6am taking the kit off one car and on another. And I was so excited after I drove around in the morning rush just messing w/ it. Shame the intercooler piping kept blowing off, oh well, fixed now. Thanks for the info too.
