Default Searched: Rev Limit for GSR w/CTR springs and ARP bolts

I couldn't find specifically what I needed to know. I'm going to be boosting my GSR motor and I've got a set of CTR springs (dual intake/single exhaust) and I'm also going to be putting ARP rod bolts in my gsr rods. ASSUMING I STILL MAKE POWER, how high can I rev the stock motor with CTR valve springs and arp rod bolts?

You don't think so? I heard it's possible to make power above 8 on boosted apps but maybe not... Any other opinions??

if youre boosted...youll probably make some power above 8k..but youd be better off just getting a ctr cam as well...they arent that expensive

Well, I'm on some sort of a budget so I can't really fit in 350+ for cams as much as I'd love to get some. I'm just wanting to make sure that I can safely rev to 9k with the ctr springs and arp bolts assuming I make power above the stock redline.

To be honest, IMO I wouldn't take it any past 8700 rpm's. Your not making power but if you must rev because your an addict don't go past 8700. That's where the CTR/ITR springs can SAFELY be revved to. "MAYBE" a lil' more but I'm assuming you want your motor to L-A-S-T.

Well, I doubt I'll make power that high but I want to make sure that I can go over the stock redline with these components safely. And yes, I want my motor to last for sure. That's why I'm asking cuz I don't want to hurt anything...

buy a p28 or p30 chip and i guess you can take it to 8500....but your not going to make power after 8000.

the p28 chip allows you to rev 10,000 rpm, but i dont think you would want to try that.

Well I'm going to be running neptune so no chipping will be needed. I guess I'll go ahead and put the springs and bolts on and if I don't make power, oh well, if I do then horray. Thanks everyone!
