I'll be going on a 2400+ km trip to British Columbia on Sunday, and I've been contemplating using painters tape as a temporary car bra to prevent stone chips, and hell reduce the amount of bugs. My real concern is would this be safe even with the long drive, and the hot temperatures from the sun?

 

it'll be fine.... use the green stuff, it sticks the best and cleans up the easiest

nope. i do the same thing when the car see's actual road course duty.

 

blue one comes off the easiest

green one is for hard to stick areas

i would use the blue
