Default lsvtec block, too many miles?

how many miles is too many, on a b18a if i wanted to build an lsvtec setup? The block i have has about 135k, ran great when it was running

havent done one yet, motor is still in the car in my back yard, bought it from a friend and havent done anything with it, been sitting for like 4 months

you cant really judge by mileage... you have to do a compression test and check out the internals...

an abused 60,000mile engine can be as bad as a regularly driven 300,000mile engine.

well start off doing a comp test and making trying to find out if theres any oil leaks/burns oil, if not mileage shouldnt matter that much just dont over rev that bitch!!!

for an lsvtec engine, should i use a deeper oil pan, or is there not that much of a difference in oil level?
