Well I've never seen a 97 Type R with oem foglights, and i wanted to be different. I found a oem style 94-97 foglight kits brand new on eBay or @ jdmcarboy.com, so i took the chance in buying them. I got them a yesterday, and this is how they look today. I didn't have problems fitting the projectors or wiring the harnesses. It comes with everything needed even instructions. It was a bitch finding the oem 1-pin connector but after that the installation was cake.

The projectors look amazing. They are Ion blue and laminate yellow. They don't draw in attention like the projectors with the yellow lens, but they will still give out a nice yellow output in the dark.

projectors and projector covers look like they match well with the 97 grill

This is inside my garage. 8000k HIDs up top and the yellow fogs down low. It kinda has that oem Lexus look. found on the IS300 and GS 430.

The kit even comes with a oem foglight button that fits perfectly into the armrest.
Overall I'm very happy with this kit and i would recommend it to any 94-97 integras looking to stand out a little bit.
Now i need to wash her so we can get nice night pics.

It looks good. I don't think I have ever seen a 97 with optional fogs. I wonder if they are the same as the jdm sir-g fogs.

This is the only thing I dont like about the OEM kit! I think it looks like **** and gets in the way. I had that switch for a week before I switched to the JDM joint!!
Here is my write up on changing it!

I knew someone would get me because of the glare. I honestly think that is one of the worst shots i've taken of my HIDs. Right now i don't have the $$$ to do a tsx retrofit, but i agree, i do need to do a retrofit.

once again. i want to set my 97 from other 97's. I know 8000k has less output, but i love the color being put out.

The jdm switch just looks alot cleaner in my opinion. And its out of the way. I hate that its JDM yO, but like the JDM SRS Steering wheel its better than the USDM crap!

Night shots

In my opinion they look good at night when they are on, but during the day the blueish purple appearance of the projectors is a slight turn off. I wish they were clear with the same yellow output, but i'm still fairly happy with this kit
