Default New project for me, need some help.

Hello all,

I just picked up a 94 EG hatch CX 5speed 104k, car is completely stock and its pretty much my new project/beater, having tunned my Euro for almost 5 years, I felt its time to go back into the JDM scene (had a 5th gen Prelude).

I hope I can have some questions answered regarding parts.

First off this car does not have power steering, is that something I convert if I had the steering rack and pump?

The hatch also doesnt have a Tach meter, what are some cheap ways to get one without spending an arm and a leg for a JDM Cluster.

I've seen this rubber/plastic front lip on some EGs, what brand is that or is that a OEM part from another Honda.

looking foward to contributing to this forum. Thanks!

i dont know about power steering too much, but that sounds about right

you dont need a jdm cluster, you can use a usdm cluster that came with a tach, civic, integra, etc.

there are oem and aftermarket lips and there are a LOT of them

jus do a search youll get plently of results, its in the upper right hand corner and make sure you search archived content

you will also need the lower sub frame off the car that you get the power rack from ex and si from 92-95 have power racks also the acura integras from the same years prob some others. The manual racks right hand side mount on the sub frame is flat and the power racks mount has a cup to . side note if you find one out of an integra they also had a bolt on lower strut brace(k bar ) i think it was called. made a big diff in my car handling
