Yah Ive noticed that pretty much everyone will go buy a CF hood before their car is even fully bolted...Ill be at a meet or whatever and see guys with an exhaust, intake, coils and a cf hood. The thing is hondas are light as it is, a cf hood should be one of the last things really need to do. Look at every pic post for example. 90% of the people have a cf hood and their car is barely modded. Makes no sense. I think most people are posers and just trying to go for the look fkn sheep.

 

for looks...i doubt it'd make the car feel much faster by going with a cf hood over stock anyways.

 

Why do people do anything? why put $3000 rims on a $1500 car? why put a jdm front end if it serves the same purpose as the usdm one? why do people race fwd cars even though they arent desighned for performance? why did you make this thread?

i don't have a c/f hood, i spent my money the right way, on power mods but i did have one, sold it about two months after i bought it for almost the same price i got it for.

i spent money on putting a turbo on my 01 Teg first, then bought the hood

My car got wrecked, and it made more sense to buy a cf hood for the same price as it would to get a stock one painted.

 

Well most people like to make their car look nice first and have it fully prepared before they do a swap or any type of performance issues, that way it will be more appreciated

Maybe it would be easier if we just stickied this at the top of this forum, as it seems that there's another "I'm cool, your cars suck because of 'X' reason" thread about every week or so. That way, someone wouldn't have to start these threads all the time.

Same here, my hood had a big *** dent in it, so might as well replace it with a cf one

Oh, btw I don't have a CF hood but I do have a S2000 push button start in my Integra which is more ricey than a CF hood.
