Dumbest post I've seen today. All the cool people drift their Civics. Try drifting your Mom's highlander off a cliff.

Dunno most civics don't come with abs. The only ones that did were EX's and it was optional. Abs is nice to have if your an old lady or drive in slipprey conditions alot but if you have half of a brain you would know not to lock up the brakes or would let off if they did lock.

In canada

95 Si Hatch - Abs Maybe 94 Si....Hatch
96-00 Si if you want to add on
96-00 Si-G - Abs
99-00 SiR - Abs

for the person drifiting in a civic idiot, and for anyone against abs "even bigger idiot"

I don't think it's because of the ABS, try because u've watched too much fast and the furious - ya can't drift with a front wheel drive car, rip up the e-brake and slide yes, drift, no... It's not because of the ABS, I've started massive slides in my friends corvette holding an oversteer and popping it a bit or just getting on it hard...and that has ABS ('02) - So that's definately not in it..

as for this:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JDM B16A &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Okay, so why is it better not to or TO hvae ABS?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Most people like having no ABS but sometimes in an emergency stop things get fucky :-\ That's what happend to me..

As for OP:
I think it was optional on the 99-00 Si, I'm pretty sure it was optional on my '95 EX
