i was recently given a head from a motor that had been blown(pistons blew apart.) and it needs some serious machine work, but i am wanting to know if there is anyway to tell the diff between a gsr head, and a b16 head, cuz the head has P72 stamped on the side, so im thinkin, GSR?

you pretty much answered your own question. p72 is the gsr.

 

well i know that the P72 was the ecu code for the gsr, but i didnt know the numbers corresponded. no need to be an ***, but thanks anyways.
