This may be a stupid question, but what's with the black valve cover?
No that valve cover does fool the normal eye. Only reason it is on there is because S&P let me borrow it to tune the cam gears. It is machine cut. Once everything is tuned then the red one will go back on.

Yes it is Endyn's crankcase breather kit. Overpriced and what not i still like it. Oh yeah the instructions that come with the kit should you purchase it are for the B20. They now have new instructions that you have to call and ask for
Nice ride, but the mummy looking header wrap on the intake has gotta go.

Jeremy:
You have heard many people talk about wrapping their header and what not. The reason they do this is to decrease the heat in the engine bay. With that being said the wrapping is actually insulation (keeping the air inside whatever object might be wrapped....whether it be the header or the intake).

I am simply insulating my intake (keeping air inside the tubing cooler) and keeping the intake temperature charge down as much as possible. It is similiar to this heatshield which keeps the heat away from the filter element. My filter is obviously in the front wheel well where heat isn't as present. No i have not dynoe'd it with and without it on the intake.
PS - i have seen numerous posts on honda-tech relating to this subject but since the search function doesn't work too well right now i couldn't find those threads.
