Default Help ASAP: Inboard vs. Outboard brake pad?? Which is which?

Which pad is the inboard pad and which is the outboard pad?

I am putting CRC brake dic quiet on the pads but the directions are a little confusing. Any help appreciated.

The one with the riveted metal wear indicator is the inboard. They are side specific. The other two are identical and go on the outside.

EDIT-don't want to spell like buttcoin- swed.

No, wait, I am asking is the pad closer to the outside of the car the inboard one then? Pads have already been installed, I just need to know which is considered outboard and which is inboard.

i.e. Pad on outside of rotor is outboard or is it inboard? And then the pad on the inside of the rotor is that inboard or outboard?

So the pad closer to the inside of the car? i.e. if I am standing in from of the hood facing the windshield, the inboard would be the pad on the left, i.e. inner pad?

I don't know how else to say it dude. The inboard pad is on the inside of the rotor, and the outboard is not. Comprendes?
