My son and I are just about finished building the entire B18C1 engine back to original specs.
And we are short one rocker arm, the middle one. It's actually not a rocker arm that hits a valve, but a secondary rocker arm.
The dealer wants WAY TOO much for the entire assembly, and all i really need is the piston that engages the VTEC.
If ANYBODY has some spare head parts, please look to see if you have a secondary rocker arm (with center piston) that you would let go of.

I know somebody that has one, but I won't be able to get it until Sunday at the earliest. We had to scrap an entire set of rocker arms because the tappets were all seized or stripped from the previous owner. The VTEC rocker arms are fine for the most part.

If you could check...i would REALLY appreciate it.

The guy I bought the head from, left out a few minor parts, I've been able to get most of them easily.
But this one has been a little harder to get.

Will B18B stuff work? I have a LS head around here somewhere.

 

Nope...It has to be VTEC.

This is what throws the rockers into "VETC" within the three rocker arms.

LS doesn't have them.
