Default coilover question.. i want to go LOW

hey guys..
before you even say it, yes i've searched far and wide and just can't find the answers im looking for!
Right now im looking at buying coilovers for my 96 LS, and i just cant figure out what to get. I was looking at the koni yellow + GC option, i was looking at the tien basics, omnipowers, and ksports, but in my searching i havent been able to find exactly how low these go. I think theres nothing more frustrating then spending a lot of money on a full coilover setup and not being able to set the thing on the ground. So, pictures, personal experiences, anything, point me in the right direction. I'm willing to spend around $800, and its gotta be able to go really low.

heres a picture of my old daily driver VW cabrios daily height, im no stranger to low

come on EuroRAccord, theres really only two reasons people modify ANY car, to make it go faster or make it look better, and i realize being TOO low doesnt help your handling it all.. so i definitily just like the way it looks.

and about the omnipowers.. i actually found a couple threads in my searches with people saying that they didnt go low at all.. anyone else have any input on this? i would really like some reviews on the skunk2 full coilover setup and the tein basics

Nice drop on the VW. Any side shots of it? There's a thread on the apperance forum for dumped cars, I think its 100+ pages? Lot of the guys on there post their suspension setups so you might want to give it a look.

sheesh, u must have perfect roads there. Entering some place with a slope must be fun.. I barely can in mine, i'm about 3.5-3.75 inches off the ground.

roads arent particularly good around here, you just get used to driving low. Right before i sold that car i was backing out of the driveway at my moms house and accidentaly ripped the whole front bumper off, it was pretty ridiculous. I just try to avoid speedbumps and driveways. I think i have some other pictures of the cabrio around, side shots and stuff, ill have to post them up.

i've heard lots of good things about the ksports, ill have to look into them a little more, as well as check out that thread in the appearance forum. Thanks for all the tips guys..

oh and no, i never punched anybody with those, haha, the only thing they ever got used for was measuring how low your car was.

tein basics dont go too low. fromt what i have seen. to go really low most coilover sleeve types will get you slammed. go with the gc yellow setup. cant go wrong with that.

Well who ever said Omni's wont get you low....I'll argue that
I'm on the far right

I just raised my car a few weeks ago for a new job because of the speed bumps, but I don't work there anymore so I will be slamming again when it isn't so damn hot and humid but this is where it sits right now.

Go ahead, put your hand on your floor and see
And this is without the OEM sideskirts I got for it.

i'm alittle lower than the rest

I hope to go lower once I get KY/GC setup.

I'm prolly dropped 3" right now.

I say go with the koni/gc combo or the tein basics. Hit up doopreme for pics of his teg. We threw on some tein basics a few weeks ago, and he wanted to see how low it would be......lets just say, rubbing was an issue after we figured out how to get the jack out underneath of the car.....
