Default Cutting bump stop in shocks

I was wondering how much of the bump stops shoud i cut off in my front shocks...its lowered with eibach prokit 1.5ish in the front. And also i noticed that the front seems to be lower than the rear by about a 1/2 inch. I replaced the front shocks with ones from autozone( only ones i could get at the time to make my car drivable.) I left the stock ones in the rear. Does anyone else have the prokit and does the front set higher than the rear?
