92 Yamaha FZR600 $1500obo eastern Iowa
Like the title says. I pd more than that for it last fall in FL, and have replaced the battery, rear tire, and speedo cable. 92 model has the single headlights, not the double.
High miles, FL bike. 44k. After I bought it, found 2nd gear will pop ou into N at high rpms. If I hold shift lever up with my foot until ready to shift to 3rd, it'll hold til about 7k. if not, it'll pop out at about 3k. Common yamaha problem. parts are under 200 to fix (worn shift fork).
Good starter bike, but plenty of room for body upgrades to make it look newer (i.e., YZF/R1/R6 panels). AirTech makes an R1 re-body kit for $700, or just the tail for $200
Has some cracked fairings and windshield. Obviously been down a time or two, but rides and runs just fine.
