hey everyone, i cant get my crx started, ill give you all the details to how this came about, car was running fine and everything, and i relocated the battery to the rear of my car, when i was done, tried starting it, started right up, after that i went inside and didnt mess with it anymore that night, next day, come out, and all it does is click, i thought the wiring i used might be too small(4ga.) so i put the battery back up front using the wires that origionally came on the car, hooked up all areas, starter wire, fuse box, and all it will do is just click, maybe 1 out of 20 times it will start, somone said it could be the thermostat ground? i looked and i didnt find one, and i never removed one, any help is appriciated

 

the car will start if i push start it, so it could be the starter? i thought that possilby the main relay, but i wouldnt think it would run push started if that went out

 

umm how did you remove the battery was it from positive to negative then when hooking the terminals positive to negative. cuz i removed the negative first the positive terminals from the battery one time and my alternator and battery got fried. but iono try cleaning your battery terminals befor going any further.

 

i dont remember honestly how i removed the cables probably negitive first but idk, ive cleaned the terminals, ive checked all my wiring etc. and it just clicks every time i try and start it

 

make sure the wire from the starter has a good connect to ur pos battery cable

 

did that also, im thinking i just might need a new starter anyone else with any ideas?

id go with a new starter..if u double checked the wires and it only starts with a jump start..sounds like a bad starter
