im swapping a gsr in a 93 DA and im pretty much done except ive been trying to put the back bracket in ,but the original braket off my LS stock motor doesnt fit...the bolts dont line up at all and the GSR one wont line up at all....the holes line up but the part that goes into the rubber mount itself is cocked so i cant put the screw in.....im at a standstill and i wanna get this thing out please help thanx in advance

 

it should bolt up fine with the old ls bracket..thats whats holding mine in (94 b18c1 into 92 ls). your are running a cable tranny right?

when im swapping motors i myself usually bolt up the drivers side, pass side, rear then front mount (in that order) it just seems easier that way

 

yup im using the ls tranny.....ive done this swap before i have no idea whats going on and im ******* frustrated

 

try this..unbolt the front mount..and loosen the bolts to the drivers and pass side mounts..that way you have more wiggle room
