60 2.223
330 6.314
1/8 9.749
mph 71.87
1000 12.703
1/4 15.22
mph 89.27

Here is my setup
Stock jdm b16a block
GSR head
ITR cams
Skunk2 Intake manifold
P72 ECU
DC header
AEM cold air intake
Spoon LSD ( gsr tranny)

get the ecu chipped and tune it. b16 likes to rev real high to make power

They also like something forcing large volumes of air into them as well. IMO, b16 don't make power at all. You may as well still have a d16 in there.

Sounds like you need to get yourself some better tires. Your 60 foot times aren't that great. What suspension/tire setup are you using?

But if you really notice, the first reply came a few minutes before he even modified the thread. Don't play detective unless you are going to see all the information.

ever dyno it?
Sounds like you got a decent setup but the et should be a bit quicker IMO. The 60' times are average for street tires.
Id look into some kind of tuning next if the motor is in otherwise healthy shape...
All the mods in the world wont help if you dont have correct fuel/timing.

Get that thing tuned and imsure youll see better times!

good time for a b16...maybe sell those itr cams and get some skunk2 stage 2s with the works....some cam gears too..chip that ECU...and a cheap thing to do is ground your vtec....trust me it helps...grounded my roomates gsr swap in his EJ1 and my cousins DB8...both said they could feel a good difference...

boosted b16 would be 10x better. Anyhow... how about getting a damn gsr block instead of the 1.6. that might match the head a bit better

Maybe honda-tech's forums are **** & can't keep a timestamp...or maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge...

you get some grounding wire and ground it from the vtec solinend to the battery...(negative side not postive...) after my roomate vtec was grounded he said it felt different...this was 2 days after you just got his gsr swap in his EJ1...

would having the vtec on all the time hurt the motor?

get a b16 or type r tranny, the gsr gearing is to wide for a all motor b16. And maybe try a better header.

A new header will get you at most 3-5hp on top of DC header. Save yo $

1. Get rid of interior
2. Chip with high rev limiter and dyno tune
3. Port and tune again
4. LS VTEC Baby! 1.8 > 1.6
5. ITR w/ LSD

New look on your face

Skunk2 Intake manifold
P72 ECU

AEM cold air intake

ACT 6 plutch clutch disc

Those are somethings i see wrong right there.
p72 ecu is holding you back. its looking for the secondary butterflies and they arent there so it could be pulling some timing or possibly making you run richer.. vtec is definately engaging to early for using that kind of a manifold.

In order to get the full effect of the type r cams you need the Type R valvetrain so you can rev it out to 8500 RPM's

Go get a Chipped p28 with a nice basemap and then hit the dyno and start tuning with crome or some thing

Ohh and BTW you have much more potential with that motor.. dont listen to these clowns saying b16's cant hold there own..

Ive been running mid 13's with my B16 setup
b16a2 stock block
ITR head STOCK
AN-R Header
RSR GTII exhaust
DXDF clutch
fidanza flywheel
ITR 4.7 LSD tranny
Hondata S300.
