How does the base 4th Gen Prelude with f22a engine compare to the 5th Gen Accord with f22a engine?
Do they perform similarly?
Is there any difference in the engines? or are they the same exact engines?
I know the Accord is a little on the slower side. Is the f22a Prelude the same?

 

5th gen Accord has an F22B1. 4th gen Accord has the F22Ax. F22B1 is SOHC VTEC

 

the prelude f22a1 is the same physical engine as the 90-93 accord DX and LX, but the ecu used on the lude has a more aggressive tune making for a little bit more power.

 

Also the exhaust on the prelude is better giving it more power.

 

yeah the f22a comparted with the f22 in the accord are allmost identicle if not the same
