is there a difference in duration and lift on the b18b to b20b cams? just wondering i just swapped and i am trying to see if anyhting that is still good on the b18b will swap over and provide more power.

 

the gains or lose with be no minimal, it would be a waste of money and time, just get some real cams, save your money trust me.

 

there wouldnt be any money spent unless i have to grind valve reliefs in the pistons which i dont think would need to be done unless the lift is a lot higher. i have the old b18b out and just put in a stock b20b. i do plan to eventually do a vtec head but for the time being i was just looking for a few free ponies by swapping out the cams from the 2 motors

 

the ls cams have litlle more lift and duration but u would feel the same kind of gains if u told ur girl to get out and walk. not even worth the time. its like 2 hp.

 

my girl is NEVER in my car. so maybe the power would be noticable. NO J/K!! but to me free HP is free HP. i am thinking with cam gears and a slight tune maybe from a safc and a new FPR and the cam swap i could see a noticable difference. i have been searching now for at least 2 hrs trying to find the b20b cam specs and i cant find shyte. i have the stock LS cam specs but no luck on the b20 cam specs!!!
