I've bought tires from them twice, and had my friends and gf buy from tirerack.com as well. I've had NO complaints...customer service is great and shipping was FAST!

same here...they have ups ground or fedex 2nd day air.....i called customer service, and I was originally going to do fedex 2nd day, but the guy told me that one of their headquarters is based out of Reno, NV so it would only take a day or two to get anywhere in Northern Cali... by telling me this, he saved me like $10-20 or something!

They are the most reputable, and probably the biggest, tire and wheel seller on the Internet. Prices are as good as anywhere, website has great info, technical knowledge of their salespeople is great, customer service is super.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Tire Rack other than as a very satisfied customer.

Yes, I've ordered from Tire Rack twice and got my tires within a couple of days all the way to Hawaii. Great service too. They called me to verify if I wanted these tires because the size didn't come on my car stock. After they verified, they shipped them out.

I hate to say anything bad about anybody, but that place drives me up the freaking wall. They have never got an order right. Not a single blessed time. :/
Never had a problem with http://www.tirerack.com or with http://www.vulcantire.com .

I've ordered from tirerack many times with no problem. Couple of weeks ago, I ordered a set of tires from them using fedex. I didn't like how fedex left the tires outside my house without a signature confirmation....that's dumb.

No, it isn't. That's standard procedure for both FedEx and UPS for orders from the Tire Rack and just about any internet mail order company. If that doesn't work for you, then specify to require a signature when placing your order. (If that option isn't available on the website, then place your order by phone to do so.)
(Again, this is the way it works with most companies, not just the Tire Rack.)

Yes, Discount Tire is legitimate too.
You have to compare the prices, apples to apples. Discount Tire has free shipping so you have to compare their prices vs Tire Rack after adding shipping to the Tire Rack prices. When I've compared, Tire Rack is usually still cheaper, but it's still worth doing the comparison to make sure...
