Default Flipping the Si is not a fun ride...

Yeah, so I flipped that motha ******.

Here's what happened..

I was in the fast lane, 70-80, and I decided to switch the 3rd lane. But a van moves to that lane and to me it didnt' look like enough braking room, so I switched back to the fast lane, and from there the car lost control.

It started veering to the right, and I began countersteering, but that wasn't working, next thing I know, I hit the side of the 605 freeway, and flipped 2-3 times. Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to get me out. I was then transferred to the USC medical trauma center.

So far my complaints are body pain, swollen right ear, left shoulder barely movable, and a headache the size of Texas...

All in all, I'm thankful I'm alive. Damn that's an experience I hope I never encounter again.

I'll see if I can try to post pics of the results.

Here's a pic of the damage done physically to me...

MORE PICS

Here's where they took me out, notice they had to cut the belt?

Pics before:

Sadly, I miss this ride, but I'm pretty happy where i'm at... where I belong.

rollover tests are done through comp software that checks all the stress points and their limits. there isn't a need for a live test as there are too many angles and variations to check.

Silver. No navi. And I was about to lower this ******' FG this weekend too with Eibach Sportlines. Add some window visors, and EP3 sidemarkers.

Lookin' to get a DA again. I miss that car badly, and I'm in the market for one.

I don't know if it's just me, but maybe these new civics seems to flip easier than other cars.

It's just you... No truth to this whatsoever. I've been autocrossing a new Civic nationally since October 2005 when I bought it.

Utterly confidence inspiring.

Wow, so many people have gotten into accident's in the new Si it's ridiculous. I was in a rollover back in august, thankfully I was wearing my seatbelt and we weren't going toooo fast. It's one of those things I'll never forget.
