Default Header...4-1, 4-2-1 - Difference?

I am looking into getting a header for my type s but on all these sites they have 2 or 3 choices on headers. First is the 4-1 and the 4-2-1 what is the difference? Are there power differences, noise differences? Is the hp gained in different places in the powerband? Little help please...

DC race FTW...

they are just two diffrnt ways of making a header... ones more for top end the other is for tq...

but DC Race is best bang for the buck.

Take the 4-1 assuming its a 'race' header. Long big runners, great for making power at the high rpm. Smaller more bendier runners better for torque down low.

a 4-1 is a race header no cat and the 4-2-1 is a shorty design which dosent give near as good gains.
