a car im looking at (89 prelude body with 91 prelude engine) has 130,000 on the motor which I'm not worried about. The body, however, does have 230,000 on it. Should I be worried about that or about the rest of the parts on the car because of the high milage? thanks

 

Save yourself the time and buy my car - which has 80,000 less on the body - and 50,000 less on the engine.......and i prolly want less for my car

 

tempting but still looking for an answer. plus i just want a car thats a commuter. no engine mods or nething like that. thanks though

 

i'd say the only issues you should be worried abour are rust issues, anything else should be be able to fix easily as long as the car hasn't been in any major accidents.

What kind of sense is that? All i have is I/H/E.........simple. No ricey sound or anything.

So you'd rather pay MORE for a stock car - than a slightly modified car and pay less?.................hmm.........
Guarantee i have less rust than him also

130,000miles on the engine -pay more?
80-85,000 on my engine - pay less?............
