Here is the story of my 1997 Honda Accord Build-up. I know you guys have seen my old Accord in a few posts. I wanted to show everyone the build up of that Accord. Out of all the cars i've owned this was probably my favourite. So much blood, sweat & tears was takin into this project. I remember people laughing @ my Accord when I first picked it up. Hey Donavan that car looks like ****, you will never be able to make it look good!
Then when the car was finished, they were all like...WTF...nice car dude!
I bought this Accord from a guy for $1500.00 and it had seen better days. But I'm a strict believer on, almost any Honda can look good if build the right way.....Here are pics of the car when I first picked it up...

Rusted fenders, rusted hood, dirty *** motor, faded paint and just an overall **** box....Let the games begin...
Here where a few parts that I got, hoping that it could help this poor Accord

After some of the parts where collected I decided that i wanted to do something a bit different for the Accord. Especially in Canada, cause most of the Accords out here have the same mods. Since this was the second Accord I was building, I had to make sure this one was much better. I was the first guy in Canada rockin GAB rims  . This was in 2000 and when I got this Accord I decided that doing a 5 lug conversion on this Accord would be something unique, considering that no one in Canada had tried this conversion before

After 3 weeks in the shop. Me, Leonard & David finally got the conversion done and the motor installed. After that was complete, I decided to drive the car for 2 weeks to make sure that we were having no problems with the 5 lug conversion & the engine..Here how my baby looked after the convo & swap!

Once we realized that everything was good to go, then I dropped of the car @ my boys bodyshop. Then "Flair" installed my JDM Fenders, JDM Chrome housing Stanely Headlights, VIS Carbon Fibre Hood, Power Folding mirrors and painted the Accord Champ White!!!! Then i decided to put on my 16x7 Wedssport Rims.

For some reason I wasn't happy with how the rims looked on my car so I decided to get rid of the Wedssports and put on some Honda Accord Euro R rims. Had them painted Champ White also and put on a 97 front grille. Here is what the car looked like once she was complete........

They say that all good things must come to an end. After having the car done for 4mths, I decided to sell my baby and get something a bit more practical for my family. I'm a father of 2 and I decided that I wanted something a bit more comfortable for me and the kids. My Accord didn't have AC, power steering, cruise control. I bought myself a 2004 Infiniti G35 Sedan (6MT) and just picked up a 95 EG Hatch for my girlfriend. Here where some of the last photos that were taken of my baby before she was "Sold"..
Damn I miss this car

Sometimes there is good news to every sad story! My girlfriend told me that if I want, I could get another Accord. So now i'm looking for another 5th Gen Accord (CD7) Coupe and it's off to the races again...
Want to thank my sponsors. Standard Auto Wreckers (Motor, 5 lug convo, Prelude interior), Vibrant Performance (headers, full exhaust system, intake) MS Auto Modify (all the installation), Toyo Tires, OMNI Power, Option JDM
Thanks to all my friends from JSPEK.com, Honda-Tech, JDM Universe, Accordingly Done, Toronto Accords and all the other Honda tuners out there who have passion in building rides.....Thanks for reading this post...

Probably the hottest and cleanest accord there is in the GTA.
Donovan is one of the most down to earth guys ive ever met. Good luck on the new project man, I know it'll be just as clean as your last two builds. I'll see you at the next big meet.
