today i did my first valve adjustment, put in some new injectors and changed my tranny fluid. i switched back to honda mtf from mobile gear oil cause of a 3 4 shift problem i was having @ redline that i read could be caused by synthetic tranny fluid.

anyway, when i dranied the fluid, i lowered the jack so the brake dust shield was about an inch off the ground to make sure i got all the fluid out. when i filled it, i jacked it up untill the rear wheel was off the ground so i could get as much as i could in there. i got about 3/4 through the 2nd qt when it started pouring out the fill hole.

my helms says it takes 2.3 US qt., which means i'm about half a qt low. did i just not get all the fluid out?? or do i have a mutant tranny??

I always use 2.2liters!

 

i just changed mine today and it was just under two and a half. you probably didnt have the car even, it needs to be level to get it al in. also sometimes you have to wait a second while it setles and then put more in.
