Default EF too light when rear seats/stereo components removed?

When I did my Type R swap, I had my rear seats in place, and my sub, amp, and 6by9s in the rear. It was a fairly stable platform, and I could really throw it into sweeping turns, like highway cloverleafs. I recently had the car painted, and had the rear seats, and the stereo system removed. The difference in handling is freakish- if I make a sharp turn, the car feels tippy, like the rear end wants to swing around. Makes for some white-knuckle handling- have any of you EF owners with Integra motors swapped in experienced this phenomenon if you removed too much weight from the rear of the car?

How much weight are we talking about?

To get a little weight redistribution going, you can relocate the battery to the trunk.

You need a bit of weight in the back. I keep the battery in there and it seems fine. If you are running some stiff dprings and some sticky tires (RA1s for example) you shouldn't have to worry, it's just a feeling the car will stick. If not, then you can upgrade even more with some bushings, maybe a sway bar? Stiffing up the rear.

When I put the Si rear sway bar in my car I felt a difference right away. The back end seemed WAY more stable in corners. Try that.

I'm buying a new one soon. Forget which company. Getting a good deal cause it's a friend, but apparently it stiffens the **** out of the rear.

Maybe Suspension Techniques? I noticed a big difference by swapping my Si sway bar with an ST bar.

Just be careful. Being too light AND too stiff in the back can actually be a bad thing. I've seen the rear end slide out due to that. Not a good situation for a daily driver.
