Default so the type s cams are bad for stock internals?

What's up guys? So I was reading the post where (I don't remember names) but one guy had type s cams on stock internals. When he wanted to swap them for stage 2 cams, his mechanic told him that his valves or something were all destroyed because of the type s cams. Well I bought the type s cams and have a h22a1 with stock head. So now what would I need in order to run these cams safely in my h22? I'm looking for a slight improovement from stock. I thought the type s cams would be good for 10+ hp without seriously modifying my head. So my question is what do I need for the type s cams and my stock head to run right? Thanks
