Putting a B16 in an HF i took the B16 out of my 91 CRX Si, so the wiring harness is done, will it plug right in to the Chassis Harness? or do i need to re wire anything?? also, the Map Sensor on an HF has alot of hoses. I have a Map Sensor off an Si Model, can i just swap out the MS? the plugs fit right in, but i noticed on the Si Chassis harrness, there are only 2 wires on one of the plugs to the map sensor, but on the HF there are 4 wires connected to it.
Does anyone know what i am talking about??? i will post picks to better illustrate what im trying to explain. any suggestions and wiring advice will help out alot. thanks

 

A HF and Si harness are not the same. Dispite what you might read on this site harnesses aren't even the same between all HFs and all Sis. They change from year to year. 90-91 seems to be the same but 88 is one, and 89 is another, and 90+91 is a third.

The extra hoses and wires on the HF map box is the dashpot. The HF had extra emissions that the Si didn't have. The map sensors are the same. If you take the cover off the map box thingy, trace the hoses and you'll find the one that leads to the map. Plug it into your manifold.

You will need to use the HF engine harness on your B16. It won't plug and play. The only other way would be to convert the car's harness to match the Si.
