is it worth my money
I found a guy who is selling a 97 honda civic hx with 71,000 miles for $4,900
he has in it: 95 us made GSR swap in it
-1.8 liter dohc vtec
-apexi catback exhaust with dc sport lower strut bar
-dc sport heads
-aem short ram intake
-skunk2 intake manifold
-competition racing clutch
-si gauge clusters
-H&R lowering springs
-VIS double sided carbon fiber hood
-NEW AEM cam gears, BUT HE NEVER GOT THE TIMEING ON THE CAR RIGHT SO HE STOPPED MESSING WITH IT.
Is buying this car and fixing the timeing belt worth all this trouble or is there more to this car that is wrong and he just doesn't know what.

does it have 71,000 ont he chasis or on the motor?? Usdm sucks but it will do. Apexi sucks. But yeah if you like it under 5000 isnt a pocket breaker, for a car that alredy has a swap.

it doesnt really matter if its usdm duude.. JDM is just like what... 10 more hp.. so it doesnt really suck.

what exactly is wrong with the timing? did he just adjust the cam gears on his own and damage something, or is there more to it than that? you mentioned something about the timing belt, what's wrong with that? if there are no major problems with the car then that price sounds pretty good, considering that a gsr swap alone costs around $2.5k. if there are serious problems with the motor then i'd just skip this one over.

i dunno doesnt sound that great check out my kaptiva si for sale in the cars for sale forum.....its pretty fast it will blow away 1.8 vtecs im askin about 5500
