Just insatlled my jdm front, everything went smooth, including wiring the lights until the pass. side hid went out, after about five minutes. The only thing I can figure out is on the harness the power lead had a small metal clip a few inches from the base, not sure what it is(I had the jdm harness). On the side that went out that clip is unprotected, the drivers side has tape around it. I imagine that it came in contact with metal and caused some sort of problem. Is it the light or ballast???? I'm going to open up the housing and take a multimeter to it tomorrow, any ideas what I should look for??

 

if the wire was exposed and grounded out (the positive) most likley it just blew a fuse....check that out, under teh dash are those fuses...
