I want to do a tranny swap in my 96 Prelude. Currently I have an H23 automatic. I have a few hmanual tranny honda parts cars at my disposal: a 92 Accord lx (2.2L SOHC) and also a 90 Civic 1.5L . as always I searched the archives but no dice. Any information would be awesome. Also I would purchase the H23 tranny, ecu, and everything else I need from someone on here if its for sale...Im trying to avoid finding all of these parts from multiple sources.

 

The accord tranny will fit, acceleration will be slower but it'll bolt on.

 

Are people too lazy to search nowerdays?????? there are several that will fit...search find out yourself.....this has been coverd so so so many times

 

any H or F series tranny will bolt directly to a BASE h22

dont worry about it. Just know that any F or H series tranny will work so long as its a Base model motor.

Read the title again. 4th gen H23 = no chance of SH style block
