anyone knows how much these cost and what size they come in? Also, how much is needed to seal a civic hatch....like the jams and whole exterior? Thanks.

you can get sealer in pt qt or gal im shure, youll need a activator and reducer go to with it, and its usualy color matched to the base color, dark, medium, light

you need to wait 30mins before spraying your color coat, but not over 2hrs, if you wait over 2hrs you need to wait till its fully cured and go back and scuff it

Yep. Purely guessing I'd say you need 2-3 quarts.

I would leave it up to the prep guy...but there's been too many issues dealing with him. I hate myself for knowing him and for being too nice Pics of my hatch will be up if things don't come through.

if you really wanna play it safe, look at your tech sheet for the sealer and follow the directions.

well as you guys know, I stated that there was problems with the prep guy who was working on my hatch. He fuc'd me over big time...with his excuses, b.s. stories...basically he was trying to avoid me at all cost since I dropped off my hatch on memorial weekend...2months ago. I've only seen it twice since I've drop'd it off...and after that it was hella hard to meet up with him or even go see it. The reason I was asking about the sealer and harder was because I wanted to know if what he was telling me was the truth. Said he spent 130 of the 200 I put down on sand paper, sealer and hardner. When I got decided to just get my hatch back from him this saturday...he made if difficult for me to even get it...and I even called him days ahead of time to let him know I was picking it up. When I got my hatch from him...it was still the same as it was when I first saw it...only thing different was that he put the new fenders and new pass. door on...did minor fix on some of the dents and dings...and this was for 2 months. Told me it was ready to paint...primer and all already....shiet what a load of crap. Well there's more too it, but here's the pics....let me know what you guys think. Anyways, KARMA's going to get his FATTASS

Here's how the car sit now at the paint shop...should of had them done it in the first place.

I wish I would stilll have those pics when I first took it at his place when I first saw it...but no...all gone I'll also take a pics of the container of sealer he gave me...it not label and I don't know if its even sealer...plus no proof that he bought it...just gave me a container with something in it.

230....he wanted 30 more bucks for the work done to it...since he told me he spent 130 on supplies...and with 70 left over...he wanted 30 to make it equal to 100. I wanted to argue my point of how my car looks...but at the time...I just wanted my hatch back and for him to give me the keys to the car without him and me getting into any situations that won't look good. But to hurt his reputation on here and around sacramento/norcal...I posted it up on this site knowing he or his buddies will be seeing it. Dude was telling me how he's going to be opening up a body/paint shop....how the fuc is he going to do that when he fuc's everyone over?

For better answers try here http://www.autobody101.com/forums/index.php

You can also get primer that has a sealer in it. That is what I did.
