hey guys how do i go about removing the stock strereo from an 89 crx?

 

a stereo is the easiest thing to remove on an car, there is like for screws then a wire harness

 

remove the phillips head screws on the sides of the console and the one behind the glovebox door. pull that off and you will get a better view of what to remove. you can reach behind and disconnect the harness plug from the stereo. there may or may not be screws holding your stereo in.

 

remove the center console... and once thats removed there should be like 4 screws holding that face of where the head receiver is mounted on.... dont remember if there is a bolt holding the oem stereo in the back....
