hello everyone. I am new to this forum and i have a couple of questions about my 01' gsr. I have about 90,000 miles on the engine and for some reason when i drive the car it periodically makes this loud grinding noise between 2,800-3,400 rpms. The weird thing is the engine idles fine and there does not seem to be any apparent problems with it. I recently had the catalyic converter replaced and i am thinking maybe it could be a loose clip, or something of that nature. Also i took the car to the shop( the check engine light is on) and they said it was the catalyic converter again. I hoping this is not the case because i just replaced it. Any ideals of what could be going wrong with my car? Are these two problems related possibly?
