Canadian answer to Auto Theft devices.....
I've been checking for the best auti theft device for my CRX Si.....
I have a Viper system (300?) but it is a joke, just pulled the main module
out from under the dash when it started giving me problems and the car is totally
disarmed.
I found the Canadian Insurance sight that sounds very good, I think Insurance
in Canada is a public agency..... They say there research shows that the Immobilizers are the best Anti Theft devices and recommend the following
'Currently there are five IBC-approved after-market systems available for retrofit, including the Autowatch 329 Ti Immobilizer, the Autowatch 573 PPi Immobilizer, the Mastergard M6000 Immobilizer, the Mastergard TK Immobilizer and the Powerlock Canada Immobilizer.'
Only the Powerlock seems to be available here in the US but the local guy
says there is a bracket on my CRX starter makes the installation of the
powerlock almost impossible.
Anybody recommend a US Immobilizer on par with the above???
