transmission hybrid
not really much of a hybrid, but I couldn't htink of any other word. I have an m2b4 tranny with bad gears, and i figured instead of rebuilding it for a crapload of money, why not see about swapping in my other non-lsd (i think m2s4) gears, and ending up with an m2s4 transmission w/ limited slip. does anyone know if this woudl be possible? I'm searching through a helms, but they don't get into the different transmission codes. thanks in advance for any help.
Final Drive Ratios are the same, so I'm assuming the countershaft and mainshaft diameters and lengths are going to be the same between the M2S4 and the M2b4.
Pull the gear assemblies out as a single unit with the shift fork assembly still attached to them, and swap them in as a single unit.

yeah, that's what I was planning.. Once i get my basement cleaned up I can have space on my workbench. If it ends up working fine, anyone want to buy it? haha. maybe i'll keep it as a spare...
